Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

Nurturing mothers, parents and babies from preconception throughout the pregnancy journey to baby’s first birthday with both Bowen and Breastfeeding support services has become a particular passion and speciality that allows a special continuity of care mothers and parents flourish in.

Sue empowers parents to reach their breastfeeding goals & make informed decisions by supporting them with the best possible information & assessment during their breastfeeding journey.

As a mother initially struggling to breastfeed, Sue realised the value of objective breastfeeding support and that breastfeeding didn’t just happen, but a skill learnt by both mother and baby.

Sue started as a trained breastfeeding counsellor with the Australian Breastfeeding Association continuing on to train their counsellors over 14 yrs. She became interested in the growing interest in research on lactation and sat her exam with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners in 2003

Sue has maintained the IBCLC qualification continuously and been in private practice ever since.
